How to use Lutra
Integration
Lutra will automatically ask for account permissions when it needs to connect to OneDrive, so you don’t need to configure everything beforehand. You can visit your Integrations page anytime to confirm which accounts Lutra has access to.Attach OneDrive Folder
Provide a link to your OneDrive folder in the chat by giving Lutra the URL.
You can also ask Lutra to search your OneDrive with specific keywords.
Test Folder Access
Send Lutra a message to confirm it can view the folder contents. For example: “List the files in this folder.”
Lutra will display the files it sees, helping you verify that the correct folder is being accessed.
Process a Few Files to Start
Before handling your entire folder, test on a few items:
“Process the first two files and extract X, Y, Z from them. Put the output into a new Excel file in my OneDrive.”
Check whether the extracted data is correct and well-formatted.
Refine and Scale
Provide feedback if something is missing or incorrectly extracted.
Once things look good, instruct Lutra to process the entire folder or multiple folders.
Create a Playbook
After verifying your results, create a Playbook to automate and scale up the process.
You can also set it to run on a schedule or share it with your team.
Tips for Best Results
Start Small
Always begin with a handful of documents to ensure the process runs smoothly before scaling up to larger folders.Provide Feedback
Lutra uses AI that adapts to your guidance. If the initial results aren’t what you expected, let Lutra know. You might say:“You missed extracting the invoice due dates, please try again.”
